The SUG P.R.O, in person of DAKIZ have warned and implore aauites to ignore the earlier date (4th April 2015) mention by the school authorities as closure of the portal.
Dakiz in his words said that
"I, Comrade Daniel Akingbade (DAKIZ) saying a Capital Rejectamenta to any Information saying the deadline for school fee payment still remain 4th April, 2015, and the reason for that is: The last Circular the management passed across the campus based on the outcome of their Senate meeting on 25th March, 2015 and Circular was released to the effect that same day.
Student Union executives and Dean of Student of Affairs Dr. Ajidahun had a meeting with the Vice Chancellor (Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun) the next day, around 4:15pm and the meeting lasted for one hour and few minutes, on Thursday 26th March, 2015, after deliberations, with constructive and rational reasons why the Deadline can not and should not be on 4th April, 2015, and the Student Union Executives and the Dean of Student Affairs requested for the extension of the Deadline till the ending of April, which the Vice Chancellor Unanimously agreed, and gave his acceptance speech in the presence of Dean of Student Affairs and other AAUASU executives there present."
