The situation between the two group (SRC vs SEC) is getting messier and didn't look like getting resolve anytime soon. The situation have not been favoring the suspended excos with series of article we can not publish in support of action againts the excos to total lock-down of the student union building.

On Monday 24th August 2015, around 6 pm, there was news around the campus that the Students Union President, Welfare Director and Social Director were suspended on the ground of a expired product by UNILEVER’S Plc free-will gift distribution, which was shared on friday 21st August 2015 from the other products that was shared, and the AGS was suspended on the ground of not performing his functions.

The news above was a Funny one and the Augusty of the month, bcos non of the SEC members above was invited to any sitting, as it in the student Union constitution Section 29 (1), for easy access, page 12.

Prior to this, I wish to inform the whole Aauaites that and the general public that, Comrade Kdivine, Onogwu, Dablues and Plato-Edu still remains the President, Welfare Director, Social Director and Asst General secretary of the Union respectively.

Getting to office this morning, the SRC served the SEC members involved a letter which was debunked. After that, Security Unit visited the Building, and ordered that the building should be locked under the instruction of the DSA and nothing belonging to the Union should be out of any office, in the process the SRC members took the Union Mace out of their office, and the issue was brought to the consciousness of the security men around, and they have to collect the mace and took it back to the Union building. And currently, the building is under lock, as directed by the office of the DSA to the security unit of the University.
