AAUA Wins National Academic Competition

The rising profile of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, as a citadel of academic excellence got a boost as a student of the Institution emerged runner-up at the 2015 edition of the Best Marketing Student Award Examination organized by the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and manufacturing giant,
Unilever. Ayodotun Akinbola of the Business Administration Department of the Institution beat participants from other Nigerian tertiary institutions offering Marketing or related courses to emerge the first runner up in the national academic competition.
Akinbola and Mr. Abiodun Akingbaso, both 400-Level students of the Department of Business Administration, represented AAUA at the national competition. The feat came on the heels of the commendable achievement of Akeem Longe, a product of AAUA who emerged the best graduating student in the Nigerian Law School Final Bar
Examination in 2014. The organizers presented Mr. Akinbola with a certificate, a plaque and a cash award.
